I can hardly believe it in 12 days I´ll be holding Jon in my arms. He and Sarah land in Keflavík airport july 12th at 6.25 in the morning and will be leaving july 22nd.

Working my ass off

What up???

I´ve been working sooo much... was working for 35 hours in 2 1/2 days. Been working as a cook, waiter, bartender, and maid. Trying to make some money for tution. Only little over a week till Jon comes to Iceland. All my friends can´t wait to meet him. I swear I should start making appointments... ok you can see us at 3:42 tuesday July 14th... sorry that timeslott is taken make another appointemt... LOL.

I´m gonna show him and Sarah the country, some glaciers, geysers, mountains, and so on. But of course gotta show them the nightlife. I´m gonna take a few days off from work to make the most of our time together.

Tomorrow is the last day of my night/morning shifts which means no more waking up to go to work at 3 a.m. Sweeeet get to sleep in. Now I get to work eveningshifts which are soooo much easier.

so what has everyone been up to?

Been in e-mail contact with Valerie about the whole apartment renting thing... I believe she and Darren are gonna go look for some next week. I hope we get a nice place that isn´t too expensive. I´m kinda excited about living totally on my own. Not the whole dorm experience.

Last night I played a blank tape at full blast.
The mime next door went nuts.

Just got home from work.
Last night there was a big family get together at my house. I ended downtown drunk with 2 of my cousins. We had sooo much fun especially making fun of the ever so NOT happy employee of one of the fast food stands. The guy actually said that just makes us more annoyed, after we had said have a happy night. Well we made bigtime fun of those guys and well we were laughing at everything especially me when I broke the heel of my new shoes.... I slipped on ketchup on a hot dog wrapper on the ground....who else is as unlucky as I???
Then we crashed at my cousins house cause his apartment is practiacally downtown. way cool!!

Work tonight was pretty busy but everyone was really happy with the service (THank god) but the nerve of some people!!! This couple sneaked out without paying a $100 bill.

I´m invited to 3 parties tonight but I´m being antisocial... I´m too tired and just don´t feel like doing shit.

Back to doing nothing... later!

No more homealone

Well now everyone is back from abroad. So no more easy life Well maybe now the easy life begins... my mom and dad restocked the fridge today (I must admit it was kinda empty) and they cooked dinner. I didn´t even have to clean up after dinner (because I was on my way to work)

This is scary I´m actually starting to enjoy doing laundry....


Wow I miss Jon incredibly!!! and the rest of you´s guys too. Yesterday was the Icelandic National holiday... everyone remember June 17th!!! Well because of this splendid holiday we decided to get wasted the night before... increbable so much fun. Ok way too much beer, red wine and G&T´s but yet I was amazingly not hungover yesterday. But we went and saw this really cool Icelandic funkjazz band and then ended the night in regular bar called the Celtic Cross. I think I went to bed around 8 yesterday morning the bar was open till like 6.30 and then I slept over at Katla´s place and of course we HAD to have a nightcap (ok we were already really drunk).

Been playing the role of the amazing housewife... doing laundry, cooking, cleaning and so on.... OMG I´m loosing myself what is happening?? Help me please!

I wonder if I can buy a pack of cigarettes with both my debetcard and cash.

Well now I´m 22 years old as of 8 mins ago ( icelandic time)

I baked a cake tonight just because its my birthday tomorrow/tonight. My brother is back from Cypruss and London so I made him a nice dinner. Wow I´ve been cooking up a storm the past weeks... made stuff that I´ve never made before and shit. Very fun.

Been working a lot I have my shifts that are every other week from 4 in the morning till noon and then I take a bunch of evening shifts and also morningshifts when its not my day to work.... gotta make some dough... hehehe.

My parents were gonna try to meet Jon while they´re in Florida but they can´t find a time to meet. It would have been sooo funny for them to meet without me.... I can just imagine the awkwardness.

tomorrow night I´m probably gonna have some beers with my friends cause of the special day... I think it´s called drinking your age away. Wow 22 fucking years old.... thats a lot... you can divide it my 11 ouch!

Well off to fall asleep in front of the T.v.

Ok I cant believe it

I actually woke up at 3 a.m. and was at work before 4a.m. I am amazed, you probably too cause if you´re reading this then you probably know me and know I love to sleep. Well work is great fun people that work there and even though this was the first time on morningshift and first time meeting these people we were joking with each other and calling each other dorks. I guess you have to be a bit loony to work there and so early in the morning.

Ok I fell asleep for a while after my shift was over and now I´m soooo awake and totally loosing it.... using my hairbrush as a microphone and singing with 80´s songs and maybe even a bit of dancing. Beauty of being home alone.

Ok can somebody tell me why I have 2 pairs of PINK socks?? I just made this discovery.... and yet I HATE the color pink.

Ok I should go to the gym.... but that would kill my good mood. Well I should go it´s good for me.... oh the agony.... muhahahaha

I miss you all soooo much... especially Jon but I talk to him many times a day so I know what he is doing... hehehe

Yo yo yo
Well it´s sooo nice being home alone. Actually I´ve fallen asleep on the sofa in front of the T.V. three nights in a row hehe... The videorental store people see me everyday and I think they´ll start to greet me by name soon.

But I love having a kitchen... I´ve been experimenting with foods and usually it turns out really good... or so my friends say. Ok the thing is you go to the grocerystore and buy whatever you find strange especially vegetables you´ve never ever seen.

I start the morning shifts at the hotel on Thursday.....wow can´t wait to wake up at three in the morning to go to work.... but the best thing is I´m done before noon and I have the whole day to do fun stuff. And I´m probably gonna take extra evening shifts to make some extra money.
